For women owned businesses and minority owned businesses, special opportunities may be available to obtain the rights to fill some of the contracts.

To find out more information, go to
WomenBiz.Gov, for key information about women owned businesses becoming involved in the federal procurement area. Note that a woman or personal of minority to a small business having majority ownership is never enough to take advantage of many of the special contracting opportunities offered by the federal government - women or person's of minority must be actively involved in the business and be in possession of the knowledge and authority to run the business.
